March On!

It’s March already? I don’t even remember February! Honestly, does anything decent happen in any February, ever?

Sure schools might go back and so on, but do any really memorable life events happen in any February?

Of course, having typed that I’m aware I’ve just insulted everyone who was ever born or married in February. So, um, it’s not you, it’s me?

Also, the more I type February the stranger it looks as a word.

I had a dream last night. Don’t worry, I don’t remember most of it now, even though it went for a while.

All I can remember is wanting to go snorkelling but the snorkel pool was on a single metal rail under the water that dragged you around. Kind of like a water ride at a theme park. Anyway, u have no idea how it really worked.

So on to the disturbing part. There was a horse underwater. Not a seahorse. A horse. Standing. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that because it was underwater, it was dead. Not that I want it to be dead. I love horses & would buy at least one if I lived on average. I used to want to compete in three day evening & in year 8 I walked all of Carseldine delivering local newspapers just to pay for horse riding lessons.

As Ben & I woke up this morning, I was trying to describe my dream (possibly while still asleep, in hindsight), and I think we got into an argument about what kind of horse.

Me: …and there was a horse underwater.

Ben: a seahorse?

Me: no a horse

Ben: a seahorse

Me: no a tall thing, a horse

I actually don’t remember how the conversation ended. I probably fell back asleep or something.

In completely unrelated news, the person standing very, very close to me is reading a book called “Remembering Whitney”. Is Whitney Houston dead? I didn’t know this!

Have a great Friday!

  1. Oh dear honey. Yeah, Whitney Houston is dead – overdose I think!
February is a weird word, I agree. I cannot get over that it’s March already. Xmas only seems like yesterday. I’m still typing 2012 on everything!

    1. Each year seems to go faster than the last!
