What I Loved: Variety Is the Spice Of Life Posted on November 23, 2014June 26, 2017by Vanessa Smith I think I’ve been all over the place this week! Happy, sad, busy, quiet, relaxed, anxious… I’ve been all over the internet too. You may have seen me at: Modern Mummy Mayhem, talking about social media and YOU An Organised Life, talking about Finding Extra Cash on an Irregular Income Pretty much what I ate all week for lunch: salad wraps. Still need a kewpie mayo intervention. Brisbane got hit by a big, big storm this week. Took me just over three hours to get home – and I was lucky enough to get on one of the first buses out of the city! This is an (accidentally B&W) photo of a river breaking its banks. The good thing about the storm was that I came home to freshly made Chicken Rice Paper Rolls 🙂 I “decorated” my water bottle. One morning this week just didn’t go smoothly for me at all. So instead of rushing to work, I took my time & grabbed some breakfast, had some quiet time. Friday evening I *had* to get out (more on that later this week). Beach BBQ for dinner it was. Love the $2 serve-yourself feta stuffed olives at Coles. Bargain treat. I took myself off to the beach Saturday morning to get some writing done. Wild Saturday night in: hammock and Happy Gilmore.
