Grocery Guessing Game – Round Two!
I’m liking doing my grocery posts this way around – it makes a challenge! It’s easy to play along.
- Take a look at the photo I took of my trolley as I was in the checkout queue.
- Guess how much it cost me
- Take a look at the receipt
- Let me know how close you were!
The prize is pride. Or imaginary hugs. Hmm. Neither of those is particularly creative, sorry.
FYI: That ice cream = the best.
Before you read on, take a good look, and think what it might have cost. I know it’s kinda hard to see the meat wrapped up but that’s the challenge part!

I love the Peanut Butter version of that ice cream. So freakin good.
I’m addicted to brownies so I haven’t actually tried the peanut butter version yet. I should do that one next!
Ooooo I was close! I guessed about $100. Wish I could get all of my groceries for that … I was happy today when I spent about $170. Great game! I look forward to the next challenge 🙂
Pretty close!! This is only for two people, and we also spend $20-40/fortnight on veggies from a local store, so it’s not all of my grocery money.

I was way off! I guessed about 70 bucks but I blame it on the meat. That made it super tricky 🙂
