6 Things I Believe

6 Things I Believe

I think I started this post from a prompt sometime in 2016. I’m really not sure where from! But I found it in my archives and thought that it would be good to get to finishing it.

6 Things I Believe

Patience is a virtue I will never have

I can pretend to have it, but that is more just me repressing my impatience.

Every situation looks less dire if you throw the word llama in it

It truly does. I think it’s because few words in English (that I can think of, I can’t be bothered to Google this) have double L’s that aren’t a suffix.

Being a deliberate opposite of someone is the same as trying to be someone

Because either way, you’re not being true to yourself. You’re still basing who you are on what someone else is/has/acts like. Take what you like and learn from others – we all have traits in common.

Dogs are better than cats

Sorry cat lovers. I don’t hate cats but who needs an animal that is choosy with love?

Six is a large number

Well it feels like one to me right now. Six seconds to walk to a bathroom, easy. Six hour shift at work, long. Perspective…

I will always hate shoe shopping

If I could send my feet off with someone else to buy me shoes, I’d be a happy woman.

What’s something you believe?

  1. You know what? I agree with every single one of them. Especially the one about the dogs…and llamas.

    1. Llamas really throw something interesting into the mix 🙂

  2. LOL. Agree whole heartedly with dogs v cats 🙂 #teamlovinlife

    1. I also do think I’ve mostly known unfriendly cats, so I try not to judge… but I do haha.

  3. I’m really going to have to start throwing the word ‘llama’ into conversations more! ?

    1. It’s worth it!
