No, actually, I think you’re right. The world would be a better place if we all liked the same books, tv and movies. Who doesn’t want to be part of a homogeneous lump of coal?
It’s much safer to worship content without a thought process than to be challenged to think that what you adore might not be 100% perfect.
In fact, I’d take it one further and personally insult every single human, dog, cat, toad, owl, snake (shit, I’ve been reading too much Harry Potter) who doesn’t agree with you. I mean, really, who are they? How dare they have an opinion on a trivial subject that differs from your own.
Etiquette be damned.
They need to know how wrong they are and how it makes them an immoral being who eats too much organic food to understand the value of that book/TV show/movie.
