If I have selected “leave at door” then please leave my items at the door.
I wouldn’t think this is a controversial statement but it seems quite difficult to get people to actually do this.
I know people thinking handing them to me personally or phoning to me to ask if is “good customer service” or some bullshit.
But it’s not good customer service. It’s actually inaccessible to demand I come to the door sometimes.
Following the clear guidance that was placed at order time of “please leave unattended” is good customer service. I don’t need a performative interaction, I need my clear instructions followed.
Please just follow instructions – this is a form of accessibility.
