Hello and welcome back to the week after a glorious long weekend. Now, I’m very pleased to say that there is no need for there to be any post long weekend blues, because I have a fabulous competition for you!
WIN: Melbourne Oz Comic-Con Tickets!
The organisers of Oz Comic-Con have given me TWO FAMILY PASSES to give away! This is to the upcoming Melbourne Oz Comic-Con, which is running 27th and 28th June. (A family pass is for two adults and two children.)
I am not a fan of all comics and sci-fi, but when I am a fan, I am a HUGE fan. Check out the (sun-faded & slightly damaged) photo below of myself with Alexis Cruz, Rainbow Sun Francks and Torri Higginson from Stargate, taken about 10 years ago at a convention. I sat down for the photo, feeling awkward and strange and Torri (I think it was her!) said “She looks like she needs a hug!”
Then this photo happened:
I walked out of the photo room and back towards the online friends I met that day. They took one look at me and said, “Are you ok? You look shocked.” I don’t remember replying to them; I think I just walked around in a daze for a little while after. A happy daze!
If you’ve never been to a convention of any kind, I can highly recommend them. Conventions bring great memories for children and adults when they get to meet their idols.
Ok, so enough about me. How do you win these tickets? It’s pretty easy.
Take a look at the Melbourne guests and tell me who you (or your kids) would love to meet and why!
T’s & C’s:
