Capitalism and the impact of no support

Internalised capitalism means things like valuing yourself based on your income or productivity. Unlearning this is something I agree is valuable, but it’s very hard to do emotionally when you live under capitalism.

Logically, it’s very easy for me to say my worth isn’t my productivity. Truly feeling this and seeing it reflected in my life is very different.

The other thing that makes this very hard for me is having limited energy and no government supports. It means that I feel forced to view every single activity as something to be made profitable.

I don’t like that at all, profit is an awful lens to view your life through. But I’m not sure how else to align with the reality of my needs.
