Random Weekend Chats From My Car

Random Weekend Chats From My Car

I filmed this maybe two weeks ago, but never had the time to put the videos together and get it uploaded. And on the uploading note, holy shit can we get NBN yet? This 5 minute video has take about 4 hours to upload.

Random Weekend Chats From My Car

This was a pretty typical Saturday morning for me…op shops, garage sales, markets and errands. All the things I can’t do this week because my ankle gets angry at me if I use it right now.

So, enjoy some random crap from my head in video form!

What do you normally do on the weekend?

  1. Sorry to hear about the ankle – what a busy weekend! My weekend usually involves running and baking but not at the same time.

My ankle plays up from time to time…just a bit of bad timing! 🙂 You could put a treadmill in front of the kitchen bench maybe hehe 🙂

  2. My weekends are going out for lunch and dinner. then preferably head to the cinema but tonight I’m wrapping it up with dinner with friends. My weekdays are very boring tho….

My week days are work and commuting…so weekends I feel the need to get out there 🙂

  3. Look at you! Love the car chat. Great to see you and hear you.
Thanks for linking with the Lovin Life Linky!

  4. What a busy Saturday!

    Hope your ankle heals soon.

Op shopping is far too addictive 🙂

  5. My mum used to call those stripey bags refugee bags – which is probably even more offensive.

I’ve actually lost one of my post office keys. I hate to think how much that is going to cost me.

Eek I don’t know what they charge for lost keys!

  6. Love this idea! my weekends are always busy too and generally involves an op shops although they are becoming very very addictive!

I wish I could do nothing on weekends but they feel wasted if I don’t go out.

  7. You made me LOL talking about those gluten free chip thingys. They sound good.

You are a busy one and an early bird, aren’t you? My weekends involve sleeping in! Sometimes I don’t do much, other times there will be soccer for my boys and/or catching up with friends/going out for dinner.

They are good! And they sometimes go on sale really cheap – pretty expensive if you buy them normally.

  8. my weekends start at 6am to get my toddler ready for swimming at 7.15 – I must have been insane to sign up for that!

I get up for work on weekdays at 6am so I tend to get up then on weekends too – it just makes me happier and less sleep deprived if I keep a pattern.

  9. I try to do as little as possible on the weekends – we need to rest!!!

I wish I could…but it feels like if I do nothing then I’m trapped inside at work all week and then trapped inside on weekends too. So I have to go out. I think that’s why I want a house with a deck/patio…

  10. You’ve made me nervous about my PO Box. Same thing happened to me and I haven’t actually been in to collect the mail since.

    1. Vanessa Smith says: Reply

Fingers crossed! It wasn’t hard to fix, just weird. And getting to them is a PITA for me because I can only go on Saturday mornings.

  11. I’m waiting for NBN too – the internet is soooo sloooooow! Love your car chats!

    1. Vanessa Smith says: Reply

I worked out today it’s faster for me to drive 20-30min each way to a friends house to upload it to youtube on their NBN, than it is to upload it at home. How bizarre is that?!

  12. You’re a nut. I like you.

    1. Vanessa Smith says: Reply

The best nuts do like me 🙂

  13. Love the facial expressions LOL

      Typical Australian internet, sadly.

  15. haha. I should do a car chat from my weekends. Although it would just be me yelling at kids to put their seat belts on. Thanks for sharing your weekend. xo

    1. Vanessa Smith says: Reply

      Haha montage of yelling 🙂

  16. I love the car chat! This should be a regular thing.
We have always called the stripey bags hobo bags which is probably more offensive. Sorry everyone!

My husband and I have the wierdest talks in the car. I’ve long said I should sit my GoPro on the dash and let it film us talking.
