Do Something Relaxing

If you caught up here yesterday, you’ll know I’m in a ‘scraping by’ place for a little while. Not bad, just busy. Doing things I want (like blogging) or even eating decently has flown out the window as I scrape by for another week.

 

So this week I want to something that is for me and needed and, most importantly, relaxing.

My plan is to get a massage! My back is sore from adjusting to new chairs, I’m tired from being on the go and overall I think it’s a great little treat.

  1. Oh yes, I know ALL too well what “scraping by” is like!

    A massage sounds absolutely heavenly. I’ll be hoping for fine weather and trying to go out for a stroll as often as I can to relax this week!

      It will all settle down soon enough but ugh scraping by …

      I’ve been terrible at walking this year – I need to get back to it.

  2. I will only do things that feel abundant, joyous and inline with feeling good. I will take regular green tea and peppermint tea breaks while I create new content for my tribe of beauties.

      Ooh green tea breaks! I’ve only just started getting into green tea but I love it now 🙂

  3. Oh, I know that feeling well – normally comes from a fear that I won’t have enough going on and end up completely over-comitting myself. I am just going to take some time out to really play with my boys and lie in the grass.

  4. A massage will be divine! I used to have one every month. I haven’t had one in years! That is something I should do for myself also. I hope you find it relaxing, healing and rejuvinative! 🙂

      I’ve only ever had one proper full one and it was great. I’m thinking of getting a 20ish minute back, shoulder and neck one.

  5. This week has been mayhem for me as I try and move and organise for a 3 month long overseas trip…. I think I will relax when I am finally on the plane on Sunday and there is nothing more I can do! If it ain’t done by then it ain’t getting done!! Enjoy your massage!

  7. I have a massage voucher sitting on the kitchen bench to remind me to book in. It has been sitting there all week! Like you I have a sore back, I think I need a proper desk chair! I must get onto it. Hope you get your massage too. S x
