While the exact phrasings may not be the words from your blog post, these little bits of discarded content can be used in a few useful ways.

 

Facebook Content

Use deleted sentences to introduce the blog post link on Facebook.

 

Instagram/Pinterest/Visual Content

Make use of other words you don’t have in the blog post to turn them into a graphic for sharing on visual social media platforms.

Guest Blogging

Use discarded ideas/elements that didn’t perfectly fit into your blog  post and spin them off into fully developed blog posts that you can submit to other blogs, or as pitches for paid freelance writing gigs. The great thing about doing it this way is that you can customise the content to the audience but if they click back to your site, the content will still be on theme enough that it might gain you a new reader. Win-win!
