The other day we were driving around, thinking we would like fish & chips for lunch. Unfortunately the first place we wanted to go was just too busy, so we decided to go to another shop that we’d only been to once or twice.
I had forgotten how fantastic they are. The Boat Shed are a little pricier than most fish & chips shops but the quality is amazing.
We got a two person box – two fish, three calamari, chips, salad, lemon & sauce. $18.50.
This was so filling. The amazing part is that I don’t like battered fish. But it was light batter and the fish was creamy – before any sauce had gone on it! I love the sweet potato curls they put on the top of chips & meals. So yummy. And even better, Ben doesn’t eat sweet potato so they’re always ALL MINE!
Their sweet potato crunchy pieces are the best. Yum!!
I know! I wanted to go back the next day for lunch again haha.
