Welcome to a cool Saturday morning here in Brisbane – I think winter has finally hit. Today I’m sharing my blog with Clare from The Life of Clare. Read on to learn more about her!
What do you love about your life?
I love the flexibility. Working as a relief teacher can be tough but each day is a new adventure, it also means that I can pick and choose when I go to work, we can choose to go away on holidays because I don’t have to check with anyone to take time off.
I love our house, our garden, our chickens, putting the effort into growing our own food, and creating our meals from scratch.
I love going to roller derby, I’m pretty sure that’s the only thing that I really do for me!
Have you ever been on a rollercoaster?
I’ve been on one, at Luna Park.
Bookcases with books in them, or display items?
Mostly books but a few photos too.
If a giraffe could do gymnastics, which event/apparatus do you think they’d be best at?
Beam. I think although they’re pretty gangly, they’d definitely be able to sort themselves out long enough to walk along a beam.
What do you think about when you are alone in your car/bus/train/ plane/helicopter/hovercraft?
I’m a people watcher, I tend to think about where others are going and what they’re doing, where they got that cute jacket from, or who they’re meeting at the other end.
Why did the chicken cross the road?
Because that’s where her next was. Chickens always lay in the same spot and, in fact, they’ll queue if someone is in their spot.
Will you be at any conferences/events this year so people can meet you?
I’ll be at Problogger Event in the Gold Coast. It’s my first ever blogging event and I’m so excited to meet you all!
What’s your advice for humanity?
Believe that there’s good everywhere you turn.
Flog your blog:
I write about our adventures in trying to lead a more self-sufficient lifestyle, in an urban rental house on the Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria. I love sharing our stories, successes and failures, with you all.
