As in me. I am the terrible blogger. Some weekends I get all organized & schedule posts up the wazoo. Then I get lazy & don’t blog for a week. Then a week is two weeks.
The problem isn’t lack of content. I have tons of things to bore you all with. I have around 100 posts sitting in my blog drafts notebook in Evernote. Many are fully written. I just can’t seem to be bothered to post them. So instead I write a post like this one: on the iPad when I should be asleep, with no photos.
I wonder if the photos put me off of posting sometimes. If I don’t have a suitable photo I try to find one on the free stock photo site I use. Sometimes I can. Other times I can’t. I like taking photos but I don’t take photos of anything that is useful for a pointless personal blog like this is. I just write.
And this month I’ve got the best excuse ever to be a bad blogger. NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). Only I did about 4000 words of a story before deciding it was the most boring crap I’ve ever written OR read, then decided yesterday that I would embrace to NENaNoWriMo (NearEnough National Novel Writing Month) and today picked up a story that I started a few years back. I’m around 7800 words (as in, I wrote 1300 ish words today & the rest I did a few years ago). I should be at the 10,000 word mark about now. And 11,669 ish tomorrow. Bummer.
Despite all of this, I’ve managed to lie in bed & type this. The moral of this? I’m a bad blogger & I never do things when I “have to”.
Don’t let the bed bugs bite.
