I love to make my own gift baskets. The commercial ones are usually expensive and not quite relevant to the person you want to buy them for. So, as with many things in life, if you can’t find what you want, then just DIY it!
Someone in my day job life was moving into a new and stressful role, as well as moving cities. I figured she could use a little pick-me-up! So I created the Emergency Brownie Kit!
It was really simple to make. I picked up the bucket from Daiso in Brisbane, bought a 99c spatula from Ikea, and then grabbed some Betty Crocker Brownie mix & cellophane and hey presto – DIY Emergency Brownie Kit was done!
All up this cost me no more than $10 – what a bargain for a custom gift basket. And more personal than a gift card or something! If you were more of a craft person than me, I’m sure you could have designed a label for it that wasn’t WordArt too!
