I tried to think of something funny to write this week, I really did. Four jam-packed days away and my brain is not cooperating. So here are some of my current thoughts. Maybe one of them will be funny and justify this post as relevant for Laugh Link.
- What is this reality you want me to return to today?!
- Bloggers are all so lovely.
- It’s really hard to type with a bandaid on your finger.
- When you have a cut on your middle finger, it’s a great excuse to flip off your husband under the guide of (repeatedly) showing him your injury.
- Lists really are great when you don’t know what to write about. They make random thoughts seem relevant and connected.
- I really want to go to more blogging events in Australia.
- One day I will learn what make up is. Who knows if I will use it after that.
- I’m out of list ideas.
- Ooh! Pinch & a punch for the first day of the month.
If you want to read something that’s actually funny, check out my roomie’s post about the weekend.
Tell me what’s running through your head right now!

Mmmm, the first thing that came to mind is “green tea sucks”. Guess who is on a health kick for spring……?
I’ve only just learned to like green tea. But only with honey.
Sounds like you PB crew had a fantastic weekend and are all a little hung over this morning! I’m jealo as. Count me in next year!
I’d say a slow Monday is on the cards 🙂
Haha brain is just too full. You should absolutely come, you won’t regret it at all.
I was exhausted from just reading the tweets and FB updates re PBevent, so I could only imagine the exhaustion from actually going! Yep, it’s sneezin’ season. ACHOO!
I did that in 2012 and learned so much just from the tweets. Now I’m trying to go back over all the posts people are writing this year too.
I see your roomie has posted a photo of you looking not very well at the Gold Coast. Get better soon.
Yeah, I had an allergic reaction to who knows what in the hotel room. Thankfully it cleared up pretty fast but that was only after a good dose of antihistamines.
My son used to come home from basketball trips and go into a let down depression. That’s how I feel. I was only just starting to warm-up! Twas great to meet you… and yes, bloggers are lovely 🙂
Yes, that’s totally how I feel. And yay we got to meet!! 🙂
I am impressed that you even managed to get a list together! I know after Digi Parents last year I needed a week off to recover and process it all!
I need momentum – if I stop it’s harder to start again 🙂
I didn’t vomit at Problogger, so I’m really happy about that. Wait, that wasn’t the question was it? Kx (P.S I was bummed you and I didn’t get to meet).
Lol that’s a good goal. I know, so many bloggers there! Next year it is 🙂
Do little toy monkeys banging on drums in my head count?
Sounds like an early night for someone is needed
Very early night needed!
hahahaha i really liked your post hehe. I think we might have the same sense of humor. Will definitely be keeping a lookout for your next posts. Nice to find you!
Nice to ‘meet’ you too, Toby. Good luck on this new blog of yours.
It was so cool to meet you, Vanessa!
I really had a great time and my brain is so full of ideas, possibilities and thoughts that I honestly think it’s going to take about a week for it to calm down and sort it all out. But that’s a good thing, right?
It was awesome to meet you! And thanks for being my photobooth buddy. I’m trying to knock easy tasks off my to do list so that I can think of the bigger stuff over time.
Your room would have been hilarious! Gayel such a funny nut. Not really much funny here right now – but oh well, take the good with the bad! Nice to finally meet you!
Especially on the night we had our own wine haha. Nice to finally meet you too 🙂
I’m all about the random thoughts this week after such a huge weekend. ‘Why do I still feel so tired?’ has been the main thing running through my head today. Obviously having to sit still and listen for two days was all a bit much for me at pb!
I think it’ll take me a week until I feel normal again. Especially as the two weeks leading up to it were hectic for me as well.
