To be fair, I’m sure a lot of important things are covered in HR degrees. Humans are complex, and treating them as resources must have a lot of complexity as well. Usually I don’t like to assume that a job I’ve never done is really simple.
But I am always willing to make an exception. Especially for the purposes of online mockery.
The problem lies less in the degree itself and more in how literally every single HR department in the world operates.
There are two officially sanctioned replies to any complaint received by a HR Department:
“What do you want me to do about it?”
“Can you all please get back to work now?”
Now, I don’t know about you, but I can memorise 18 words across two questions without wasting my time and money at university.
