Each year I start, then fail, on my NaNoWriMo journey.
What’s NaNoWriMo? Well it stands for National Novel Writing Month. Only it’s international, there are no prizes, it’s free & it’s all about writing a book instead of it being a “one day” dream. Flick over to their About page for more info.
This is quantity over quality. Get the words out, edit and make them good later.
I started NaNo in 2005, did it again in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011 and I’m going again this year.
But November always ends up busy for me. It has my birthday & anniversary each year, then it goes to things like exams, moving house, changing jobs… and somehow I never finish.
So I want to finally finish a novel this year!
