Free samples. The best way to feel rich without actually being rich.
I mean, all you have to do is give your address, email, phone number, blood type, sexual history, sperm sample and you get some awesome tiny sachet in return.
In 6-8 weeks.
(Geez, don’t be a greedy fuck who expects things in a regular postage timeframe. It was F-R-E-E after all. You’re so entitled.)
I saw a great one.
You could compete (yes, you had to “win” this “opportunity”) to test a deodorant.
The best part?
It specified you got to keep the deodorant.

Lol! I have so many free samples. I usually take them on holidays or pack them in the kids bags for school camp. Sometimes I discover new products I love too.
This made me giggle. I’ve never sent away for a free sample but I do appreciate those little extras that I get in my bag when I buy my moisturiser… Have a great week and hope you can get out into the sun a bit more.
I must admit, the only samples I really like to get are the ones I get in my hand although I did send away for some dog food samples once only because I knew it was Ted’s favourite food and the samples were more than generous! That tale of the winning deodorant made me laugh!
Free samples :). Love your story which gave me the laugh I needed!
Oh gosh, so true. There was a blogging story waaaay back about something a blogger wrote about and no, you can’t keep it, send it back. Weirdly inappropriate as well.
I give out my email address less and less these days…big clean up of places sending me emails I don’t want!
Thank you for being part of this week’s Life This Week link up. I enjoy seeing the posts linked by the community of friendly bloggers every Monday …and you are one of those. Next week’s optional prompt is Question. I hope to see you then. Denyse.
